New Dubai’ was ablaze with lasers, fireworks, and other pyrotechnics for the regional launch of Motorola’s SLVR City, an event that visited Dubai following stops in Chicago, Berlin, and Sydney. VIP guests, including superstar DJ ATB, on his first visit to Dubai, as well as Indian cricketing legend the Nawab of Pataudi, were hosted by Motorola UAE’s general manager, Patrick Mulligan, for a lavish drinks reception and dinner to celebrate Motorola’s design vision and continued success in the region. The theme of SLVR City was ultra-thin, ultra-chic, and monochromatic, with models in black and white zooming around on Segways between groups of Dubai’s most stylish consumers. Ahlan Hot 100 members such as Neil Petch and Lucy d’Abo were spotted among the guests checking out the new SLVR mobile.
