Motorola has teamed up with the leading lights of Pakistan’s design
industry to highlight its iconic RAZR V3 mobile handset. Merging form and fashion,
designers including Maheen Khan, Nomi Ansari, Usman Dittu, Imran Qureshi, and Muneeb
Nawaz will showcase their latest collections alongside the Motorola RAZR in its
silver, black, and pink incarnations.
"The Motorola V3 RAZR Style Runway event
gives Pakistan's most discerning guests an exclusive look at the meeting point
between form and fashion. Some of Pakistan’s most desirable clothes and jewellery
will be accessorized with the world’s most stylish mobile handset," said Mr. Mohamad
Badran, Marketing Director of the MENAT region.
In addition to the runway
programme, Motorola will also be auctioning a limited-edition diamond pink V3
handset – the first ever in the Pakistan market - with a circle of gems set into the
sleek mobile casing. Proceeds from the auction will go to The Citizens Foundation (www.thecitizensfoundation.org),
a non-profit organization that focuses on primary and secondary education for the
less privileged. Motorola is also donating 100 of its recently-launched C117
handsets to Citizens Foundation employees to enable its staff to stay connected
within the community.
Night of Style for Pakistan’s Fashionable Set
From its reception through to the fashion presentation, dinner, charity auction, and
musical performance by Strings, the Motorola V3 RAZR Style Runway has piqued the
interest of Pakistan's most stylish individuals. Wiqar Ali Khan is the evening's
compere, while Imran Kureishi has choreographed the visual feast.
"With its
minimalist design, the V3 can be slipped into the smallest designer handbag or
discreetly tucked away into a spare pocket. Pakistan's fashion elite have already
adopted the silver and black RAZR editions, and we anticipate a similarly
enthusiastic uptake of the pink version, and finally the cosmic blue version that is
set to launch in the Pakistani market very soon" continued Mr. Mohamad Badran.
